Attorney Sa’ad Alim Muhammad, Esq. is a distinguished graduate of Morehouse College and currently serves as the managing attorney of Power and Dixon Law Firm in Chicago, Illinois, one of the most respected and oldest Black-owned law firms in America. He has dedicated his career to advocating for civil rights, having passed the bar at the age of 23 after a formative internship at the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
Muhammad’s legal expertise is underscored by his involvement in internationally noted cases, including ‘The Ryan Harris Case,’ where two young boys were wrongfully accused of murder. The case was ultimately dismissed due to a lack of evidence, and the subsequent civil suit against the City of Chicago was settled in 2005 for $6.2 million.
Beyond his legal practice, Muhammad is deeply committed to uplifting underserved youth. He has served alongside Kevin Kitrell Ross in the Weekend of Empowerment program and at Teen Dream Camp, where they have made a significant impact on the lives of young people, providing mentorship and resources to help them realize their potential.
His dedication to community service has earned him recognition, including the prestigious Mark of Greatness Award from The Student Empowerment Connection.
